After checking yout your Sea Monkeys, I have to confess, I stole the idea for the robot drawing "lesson" from a comic book. Probably Mort Drucker or Jack Davis in an old Mad Magazine. And, it was originally a joke. The cartoon started off with two crude circles and ended up as a perfectly rendered human face in the third frame.
